French Clay Facial Mask
Our daily routine exposes us to stress, environmental pollution, and toxins and our skin reacts – sometimes negatively. Adding a clay mask to your skincare regimen detoxifies and rejuvenates, regulates oil production, and improves skin tone revealing softer, smoother, and glowing skin.
Our French Clay Masks come in two types; Pink for normal, delicate and mature skin types and Green for oily and fussy skin types.
Our French Pink Clay Mask is best for normal, delicate, and mature skin types.
French Pink Clay doesn’t overly strip the skin of its natural oils making it perfect for sensitive skin. The gentle exfoliation and cleansing isn’t too harsh and won’t leave your skin dry and flaky.
Coconut Milk Powder is vitamin and nutrient rich, and is renowned for its moisturizing properties.
Our French Green Clay Mask is best for oily and fussy skin types.
French Green Clay is one of the most absorbent cosmetic clays and has the ability to hold close to its weight in liquids. Green clay masks are highly recommended for oily, clogged or acne prone skin but is gentle enough for all skin types.
Honey Powder has natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which make it great for use on acne prone skin.
Alfalfa Powder contains alfalfa chlorophyll, a powerful substance well-known for its healing properties.
Both types of our French Clay Masks contain Silk Peptides, a 100% natural silk protein, which has the unusual quality of holding and releasing moisture depending on the temperature of your surroundings. Its chemical composition is very close to that of our skin making it a great source of nourishment.
Each jar of French Pink Clay Mask contains 1.4 oz. of French pink clay, coconut milk powder, silk peptides, and lavender essential oil. There are 8-10 uses in each jar, depending on usage amount.
Each jar of French Green Clay Mask contains 1.3 oz. of French green clay, honey powder, alfalfa powder, silk peptides, and lavender and tea tree essential oils. There are 8-10 uses in each jar, depending on usage amount.
Instructions for use (once per week recommended):
Begin with clean, dry skin.
Mix 1 tablespoon of the mask with equal parts water. Or, for a more intense mask, mix with equal parts apple cider vinegar.
Blend into a smooth paste. Less water will make a thicker mask, while more water will result in a thinner mask. This is 100% personal preference.
Using the brush, apply the mask to your face, jawline, and neck in smooth strokes. Be sure to avoid the delicate skin around your eyes and do not apply to your lips.
Relax for 10-15 minutes while the mask goes to work. A dry mask is perfect – a crackled mask is not.
Press a warm, damp cloth to your face to loosen the mask, and gently massage the mask off.
